Some long road trips can be challenging and a backup driver may be needed for this. Maybe it makes this challenge easier with the driverless journey you heard about for the first time at the Tesla company. Driverless cars continue to evolve day by day. Tesla is one of them. With its Fully Autonomous Driving (FSD) system, Tesla offers its users a driverless journey experience.
Tesla's autonomous driving technology is now $15,000!
This autonomous driving also has a cost. The company, which increased its price for the second time this year, increased the cost to $15,000. For orders made before September 5, the price will be $12,000. No announcement has yet been made for fully autonomous driving technology subscriptions. Tesla owners need to pay an extra $3,000 to take advantage of these features. It also requires a monthly subscription fee of $199 from owners of vehicles with fully autonomous driving technology.
Earlier this year, the fee required for FSD had increased from $10,000 to $12,000. Elon Musk, in a statement he made last month, stated that this amount is very cheap. With increasing inflation, the company made the second increase in the fee requested for FSD in a year.
Fully autonomous driving technology is now slowly becoming a part of our lives. More cars will host such technologies in the future.
