The US government has banned the sale of processors to China. NVIDIA and AMD will no longer be exported to China. The ban covering selected models will be available only with a special license. The technology war between China and America continues. This time, America has banned the export of some processors to China.

There is an export ban not only in China but also in Russia. While there was no statement by AMD officials, it was shared by industry sources. Product models that both NVIDIA and AMD can no longer export to China and Russia have also been announced.

According to the SEC document submitted by NVIDIA, the US government signed this decision because of the potential for the military end-use of the products in China and Russia. The government did not completely prevent companies from exporting products. NVIDIA and AMD will have to obtain a special license from the US government before exporting the above models to China and Russia.

According to the SEC document, the government sent this decision to NVIDIA and AMD on August 26, and the decision was effective from the date it was posted. The decision was made public by the SEC document shared by NVIDIA.
